Typical Race Weekend


SATURDAY

9:00–12:00   Core race staff and volunteers will be setting up venue and course

Volunteers always welcome! 

12:00   On-site race registration opens
GRiT Group pre-ride: All female student-athletes and coaches welcome

12:30   Course opens for all to pre-ride

5:00–6:00   Continuous riding on course only (no group stopping)

5:30   Course gate closes: No riders/coaches allowed to start the pre-ride after 5:30

6:00   On-site race registration closes and pre-ride ends (everyone must be off course)

Saturday evening Camping allowed and encouraged at all of our venues – See Camping Details

5:00–9:00   Food trucks available at Eau Claire and Trek Venue’s


SUNDAY (Race Day)

7:00   Folks begin to arrive and prepare

7:30–8:30  Pre-ride (no riders allowed to begin pre-ride after 8:00)

7:30   On-site registration opens (All student-athletes must be registered at least 1 hour before their race time)

8:00   Coaches Meeting (One coach from every team must be in attendance)

8:40   Middle School Boys Staging Opens

9:00   Middle School Boys Racing Begins

9:40   High School Freshman Boys Staging Opens

10:00   High School Freshman Boys Racing Begins

10:50   High School & Middle School Girls Staging Opens

11:10   High School & Middle School Girls Racing Begins

11:30   Food Trucks begin serving lunch

12:00   On-site registration closes

12:10   High School JV2 Boys Staging Opens

12:30   High School JV2 Boys Racing Begins

1:25   High School Varsity & JV3 Boys Staging Opens

1:45   High School Varsity & JV3 Boys Racing Begins

3:00   Volunteers/crowd/teams assist with teardown.Volunteers always welcome!
(This takes about an hour and also allows our Timing and Scoring folks to get everything double checked)

3:45   Food trucks begin to close down

4:00   Awards Presentation

4:30   Everyone should be ready to head home
